Grateful

The past two weeks Ferrari and I parked our motorhome at Jaco and Anel's place close to one of the beautiful parks in Maungatapu. I tried out the new inflatable kayak with and without its fins and Ferrari investigated the local fauna and flora. This was a time for final preparations for our trip to the South Island, but most importantly, a time to reflect on the meaning of Christmas and our hope for the future. How do we measure true riches and who do we give credit to for what we have? I continuously realise how blessed I am with the people in my life. People - friends and acquaintances - who care and support, who are interested, who help in practical ways, who listen, who give advice, who share experiences and who just stick around. Please know that I appreciate and value you. May this year be a blessed one filled with God's love and joy.
